Colombian harp virtuoso and composer Edmar Castaneda brings South American traditions to Elebash Hall with his trio and special guest vocalist Andrea Tierra.

Castaneda is master Colombian harpist known for a virtuosic command of his instrument. He is a master at realizing beautiful complexities of time, while skillfully drawing out lush colors and the dynamic spirit of Colombian, Venezuelan, Mexican, and other South American harp traditions.

He has performed with Paquito D’Rivera, Wynton Marsalis, John Scofield, Giovanni Hidalgo, Lila Downs and Simón Diaz – to name just a few of his many collaborations.
